Nata police probe assault cases

Nata Police are investigating two assault common cases which happened in Nata on August 11.
In an interview on August 13, Nata police station commander Superintendent Vincent Pitseetsile said a 37-year-old man of Sekao ward is in police custody for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
Supt Pitseetsile said the girlfriend aged 26, reported the matter to the police, who arrested the suspect on August 11.
In another incident, Supt Pitseetsile said they were in search of a 26-year-old man who is said to have assaulted his girlfriend and disappeared.
Police are appealing to the public to assist them with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect.
He thus called upon partners to seek help and counseling when they have misunderstanding rather than fight. ENDS
