Clicks Botswana celebrated their 50th anniversary with members of the Albinism Society of Botswana on August 10, who were presented with donations worth over P10 000.

Clicks Branch Manager (Game City), Ms Rebakwena Botumile said the store had been operating in Botswana for seven years, and partnering with organisations such as the Albinism Society of Botswana was their way of giving thanks to Botswana for allowing them to do business in the country.

She said the gesture represented their corporate social responsibility that had defined Clicks over the years, which aimed at making a difference in the lives of people.

Ms Botumile further noted that for the past seven years, Clicks stores had created  employment opportunities for many Batswana youths, intend  on expanding the store across the country to help government  fight  unemployment.

Mr Tawana Moremi, who has been advocating for raising awareness for people living with albinism, commended Click Stores for their partnership with Albinism Society of Botswana. Maun West MP explained that it was important for people to learn about the challenges faced by people living with albinism on a daily basis and help them wherever possible.

He said the skincare lotions donated by Clicks would come in handy to members of Albinism Society of Botswana as they had delicate skins that needed to be well taken care of.
