Boy jumps off a moving vehicle

Police are investigating an incident in which a 12-year-old boy of Etsha 1 on Sunday (July 29) jumped off a moving vehicle and died on the spot.
Senior Superintendent Peter Gochela of Maun Police confirmed the incident to BOPA in an interview.
He explained that the Etsha 1 primary school standard 7 pupil met his untimely death when he was in company of his 13-year-old cousin in a vehicle they had hitchhiked from Etsha 6 to Etsha 1.
Details of what could have transpired are still sketchy as police investigations are ongoing.
However, Supt. Gochela said he was concerned about the increasing number of such incidents in his policing area, adding Chukumuchu and Qangwa also had similar cases recently. ENDS
