The Minister of Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs Ms Dorcas Makgato has commended Oriental Plaza Shopping Complex for making a generous donation of 100 blankets to Sefhare Primary Hospital.

Ms Makgato said that the donations showed that Oriental Plaza Shopping Complex cared for the community as the blankets came at the right time because they would warm up the patients.

She however pleaded with Oriental Plaza Shopping Complex to continue helping when they have the means to do so because the community in her constituency had a lot of needs.

Handing over the donations, the chairperson of Oriental Plaza Shopping Complex Mr Wande Feng said that his company had the obligation to fully participate and integrate with the local community in order to help the less priviledged.

He said the donation was not the first one saying they had so far donated T-shirts for Botswana 2014 marathon games which was held in Selibe-Phikwe,donated to SOS childrens village, National Housing Appeal and Matsha College.

The chief medical officer at Sefhare primary hospital Dr Fredrick Mpere said that the donations came at the right time because they were donated during winter.

He said Ms Makgato, who is also the Member of Parliament for Sefhare/Ramokgonami constituency has done so much for the constituency.

He said they were waiting for the official opening of the clinic in Sefhare. Ms Makgato also donated a printer to Sefhare Junior Secondary School.ENDS
