President Mokgweetsi Masisi has been exalted for his visionary leadership since taking over the reins at the country’s highest office in April this year.

Legendary musician, Mr Taolo Moshaga presented a visionary leadership award recently, saying he found it fit to recognise the good heart and vision that President Masisi had for the nation.

“We should be honest in promoting your beliefs, thoughts and strategic transformative leadership approach. This very noble and unique award is from the bottom of my heart. May the Lord Almighty give you more strength, focus, determination and above all wisdom to lead Batswana to excel globally,” Mr Moshaga said.

He likened President Masisi to the biblical Prophet Moses who led his Israelite nation out of Egyptian bondage into a land flowing with milk and honey.

He said he had consulted with village elders, church leaders and some Non-Governmental Organisations to assist President Masisi to excel in his assignment of leading the nation.

Receiving the award, President Masisi thanked the Moshaga family for the gesture and said it was through assistance from the nation that helped him to carry out his duties.

The President said it was also through advice from other people that enabled him to deliver his mandate.

He applauded Mr Moshaga for believing in family values as he had brought his two children to present the award to him. ENDS
