Tsogwane praises donors

Vice President Slumber Tsogwane has applauded donors who keep giving to the less privileged and helping government in its endeavor to eradicate poverty and uplift communities.
Speaking after receiving blankets and electric heaters from the Pakistan Association of Botswana, Mr Tsogwane said the donations were destined for the needy.
“We have business and professional people here and it is gratifying that it has not stopped them from playing an active role in our communities,” he said adding that the association had shown compassion.
The association’s chairperson, Mr Ishtiaq ur Rehman Raja explained that it had been in existence for the past 20 years and had for some time been donating blankets every winter season.
Mr Raja said the donations were worth a little over P21 000. Ends
