Fourth president Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama on June 27 hosted a light snack dinner for the elderly people of Mosu.

He informed Mosu residents that he would continue reaching out to the underprivileged members of society. The event he said was in honouring a  promise he made when his presidential term ended,  that he would continue to serve Batswana.

The former president assured Mosu residents that plans to tar the Thalamabele-Mosu road were at an advanced stage.

He donated 77 blankets to underprivileged members of society, as well as Bibles and Vision 2036 pamphlets as well as a camp chair to Kgosi Pemole Thanyego of Mosu.

The area Member of Parliament, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe thanked the former President, saying the event demonstrated the spirit of compassion, love and care he had for Batswana. ENDS
