Molepolole police are investigating a horrific incident involving three lifeless bodies from the same family that was discovered in their house on Friday (June 22) at Ntloolengwae ward in Molepolole.

The three are suspected to have been killed by unknown assailants.

Molepolole acting station commander Assistant Superintendent Salome Segalo confirmed the incident, which was brought to their attention Friday evening.

She said the three, aged 55, 47 and 22 were confirmed dead at Scottish Livingstone in Molepolole and were suspected to have died due to suffocation since their mouths were sealed with sellotape and their legs and arms were tied with the ropes.

Asp Segale is, therefore, appealing to members of the public to help with information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.

A family spokesperson Mr Tebogo Ramantosha, who discovered his parents and brother said he was still reeling from shock.

He confirmed to have arrived from Gaborone late Friday afternoon when he first discovered the missing television in the living room after gaining access as the main door was not locked.

“I got scared as everything was scattered in the house. I quickly went outside calling for my mother using the back door to enter the house and spotted my mother lying on the floor,” the visibly traumatised Ramantosha revealed.

A neighbour, Ms Masego Mogau said she was one of the four people to witness the horrific incident after Tebogo came running calling for help.

“We came running trying to establish what could have happened and Tebogo immediately ordered us to enter the house and see for ourselves where we found the three bodies lying on the floor with their faces covered with pieces of cloth, mouths sealed with sellotape.” ENDS
