Kwerepe applauds World Group of Companies

Efforts by World Group of Companies to assist primary school pupils with a full school uniform has been described as a gesture that would restore their dignity and lift their spirits towards their academic performance.
The World Group of Companies, which comprises of various businessmen, has so far donated to over 9 722 students countrywide.
On June 18, they donated school uniform to Nokaneng and Sehithwa primary schools in the Ngami constituency, a gesture that was appreciated by the area MP, who is also Assistant Minister of Basic Education, Mr Thato Kwerepe.
The World Group of Companies donated a full school uniform to 702 students of Nokaneng and 612 students of Sehithwa.
Each girl received two pairs of skirts/dresses and two pairs of trousers while boys received two shirts, two pairs of socks and a jersey each.
Teachers, Non-Teaching staff and Village Development Committee members were given a blanket each.
Mr Kwerepe said the donation of school uniform to all students would not only restore their dignity, but enhance their confidence and a sense of belonging.
For her part, Nokaneng Primary School head Ms Agnes Makuku said assisting children was an investment.
Ms Makuku therefore, encouraged the students to use the donations as a motivator to improve their school results.
Sehithwa Primary School head Ms Sarah Hiyoveni also thanked the World Group of Companies for their compassion in providing the school uniform to all pupils.
The chairperson of the World Group of Companies Mr Rafik Sadar said their motive was to assist students to improve their results.
Kgosi Boitiro Dithapo of Sehithwa thanked Mr Kwerepe for making the donation possible and for his continuous assistance towards schools in their village.
He also encouraged students and parents to ensure proper care of the uniforms. Ends
