SADC - Parliamentary Forum June 21

Botswana Parliament representatives to the Southern African Development Community - Parliamentary Forum (SADC - PF) will attend its plenary assembly themed: Deepening Economic integration of SADC through Industrialisation: The Role of Parliament, in Luanda, Angola from June 21 to July 1.

A press release from the National Assembly says Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, who is also Parliamentary Caucus on Women chairperson and a member of SADC - PF Regional Women’s Caucus, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso will lead the delegation.

The delegation comprises Leader of the Opposition Mr Duma Boko, Selebi Phikwe West MP Mr Dithapelo Keorapetse, Francistown West MP Mr Ignatius Moswaane, Nata/Gweta MP Mr Polson Majaga and two officials.

Ms Tshireletso and Mr Boko will leave on June 21 to attend the Regional Women’s Parliamentary Caucus and SADC – PF Executive Committee’s Legal Sub - Committee meeting and the SADC - PF executive committee meetings on June 22 to 24 while the rest of the delegation will leave on June 24.

The assistant minister will return on June 30 while the rest of the delegation will return on July 1. ENDS
