Govt sponsors emergency medical care learners

Government continues to sponsor students for programmes of Diploma in Emergency Care Technology and Bachelor of Emergency Medical Care offered at Boitekanelo College.
The Assistant Minister of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology, Mr Fidelis Molao said both programmes were accredited by the Botswana Qualifications Authority.
He said a total of 380 students graduated with Diploma in Emergency Care Technology since 2012. He said a group of students were sponsored for the Bachelor of Emergency Medical Programme in 2014 and was expected to graduate in 2018.
Mr Molao was answering a question from Ramotswa MP, Mr Samuel Rantuana who had asked the ministry if government was still sponsoring students for Emergency Medical Care offered at Boitekanelo College. He also wanted to know the number of graduates of the college since 2013. ENDS
