Permanent Secretary to the President, Mr Carter Morupisi has announced appointments and transfers of senior public officers, all but one effective June 1.

Mr Nchidzi Mmolawa is transferred from Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy Security as Deputy Permanent Secretary.

Ms Baile Moagi is appointed on promotion to the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary-Health Services Monitoring and Evaluation in the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Ms Ms Kamogediso Mokongwa is appointed to the position of Assistant Secretary for International and Commercial Services in the Attorney General’s Chambers, Ministry of Defence, Justice and Security with effect from assumption of duty.

Ms Tebogo Mapodisi is appointed on promotion to the position of Chief Legal Investigator in the Office of Ombudsman.

Mr Gideon Mmolawa is appointed on promotion to the position of director, International Trade in the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry.

Mr Godwin Tlhogo is appointed on promotion to the position of Deputy Director, Department of Road Transport and Safety in the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Mr Moseki Leseane is appointed on promotion to the position of manager, Procurement in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing Development.

Mr Vincent Kinnear is appointed on promotion to the position of deputy director, Project Management Office in the Ministry of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services.

Mr Phakedi Ramatlhape is appointed on promotion to the position of manager, Finance and Development in the Ministry of Employment, Labour Productivity and Skills Development.

Ms Grace Tangane is appointed on promotion to the position of manager, Development and Finance in the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Culture Development.

Mr Oscar Phillips is appointed on promotion to the position of manager, Facilities in the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development.

Mr Lopang Pule is transferred to Francistown City Council as Town Clerk.

Mr Lebuile Israel is transferred to Gaborone City Counsel as Town Clerk.

Mr Mpho Mathe is transferred to Kgatleng District Council as Council Secretary.

Mr Mompati Seleka is transferred to the Department of Local Governance and Development Planning as director.

Mr Mogapi Nelson is transferred to South East District Council as Council Secretary. ENDS
