Jwaneng police probe suicide

Jwaneng police are investigating a suspected case of suicide in which a 20-year-old woman was found hanging from a tree on May 25.
Assistant Superintendent Mogotsi Thelo said the deceased, who hails from Botshabelo ward in Sese, but was staying with her cousin in Jwaneng, went missing on May 14.
He said the body was discovered just after the Magagarape turn-off from the Trans Kalahari highway through a search party, which was dispatched the same morning.
He said there was no suicide note while the corpse is at the Jwaneng mine hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Assistant Supt Thelo appealed to people to seek counseling for challenges that they may encounter to avoid taking drastic decisions. ENDS
