Police condemns Sunday Standard allegations

The Botswana Police Service has condemned an article in the Sunday Standard Newspaper of May 27 to June 2, 2018, titled ‘P3 million cash found hidden at Kgosi’s side kick’s house’ as false and unfounded.
A media statement from police says it is disturbing that a newspaper can publish a false and unsubstantiated story.
It says allegations associating the serious Crime Squad or any unit of the Botswana Police Service of having raided any premises and recovered stash of cash notes hidden in a house in Block 7 are therefore disturbing. ENDS
