Accountant general, Ms Emma Peloetletse says education is the key that unlocks the door to all that life has to offer.

Speaking at Madisakwana Primary School victory party for the 2017 Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results recently, Ms Peloetletse said the benefits of a decent education were vital to being successful in life.

She commended the school for taking position one in the Tonota region and position 18 in the country. She applauded the class of 2017 for their dedication in their school work.

She also applauded parents for supporting their children.

Ms Peloetletse said to be successful, one needed to be determined to realise their dreams, and encouraged the class to continue working hard since they had a long way to go.

Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development, Mr Thapelo Olopeng complained of parents who dragged their feet when it came to their children’s school work.

He said parents’ involvement in their children’s education led to improved learning outcomes, and challenged pupils to be responsible in driving their destiny.

Mr Olopeng commended Madisakwana staff for the love and dedication they showed their pupils, and dedication to produce good results with little resource.

He appealed to parents to encourage their children to take advantage of youth schemes to better their lives.

Class of 2017 representative, Kudwakwawo Moloi thanked staff for their dedication and urged them to continue the good work. ENDS
