Police arrest murder case suspects

Police in Pandamatenga have arrested four men (two Batswana and two Zimbabweans) in connection with the murder of a 33-year-old Motswana man, who was reported missing on April 9.
According to a press release from Botswana Police, the remains of the deceased were exhumed from a yard in Lesoma on Sunday following the arrest of one of the suspects in Gamodubu near Gaborone.
The release further states that in another incident, two men aged 23 and 31 years of White City and Bontleng locations in Gaborone were arrested in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old Serbian man of Extension 12, Gaborone.
The deceased is said to have been attacked and stabbed with a sharp instrument near South Ring traffic lights on April 12.
Meanwhile, police in Ramotswa have arrested three Batswana men aged 25, 36 and 48 years of New Naledi and Block 5 locations in Gaborone for dealing in illicit drugs and substances.
According to the release, the suspects, who were spotted along the borderline, fled the scene, leaving behind a vehicle loaded with 14 bags containing substance suspected to be dagga.
The police impounded the vehicle and later arrested the suspects.
Police investigations on all the cases are ongoing. ENDS
