Police in search for murder suspect

Molepolole police have launched an intensive manhunt for the arrest of a suspected murderer of a 22-year-old Lekgwapheng man, whose body was found at a quarry near Molepolole Prison.
Molepolole Station Commander, Superintendent Charles Mbengwa told BOPA that the deceased was found by a passerby, who reported the matter to the police.
He explained that the deceased was spotted at Palamaokuwe Bar during the night in question, but he disappeared and was later found dead.
He said although they suspected that he might have been murdered, there were no visible injuries evident on his body.
Meanwhile, in another incident Supt. Mbengwa said they were investigating an incident in which Molepolole Caltex Filling Station near Lephepe Junction was robbed of cash close to P4 000.
He explained that three suspects were said to have entered the filling station with their faces covered with balaclavas, where upon customers and employees were ordered to lay down before they fled in a getaway car.
Supt. Mbengwa therefore appealed to members of the public to help with information that could lead to the arrest of the alleged murderer/s of the Lekgwapheng man as well as the suspected robbers of Caltex Filling Station. ENDS
