FALSE SOCIAL MEDIA REPORTS OF PUBLIC SERVICE SALARY ADJUSTMENT

Government is aware and concerned about the appearance of false reports that have been circulating on social media purportedly announcing that as from 1st April 2018 there has been an adjustment in salaries, allowances and conditions of service for public service employees.
In this respect, members of the public are hereby informed that no such announcement has at this time been made.
Should there be any future announcements they will first appear on official state media platforms, e.g. BTV, Radio Botswana, BWgovernment and the DailyNews. BGCIS
