Two men rob KG Money Centre

07 Mar 2018

Palapye police have appealed to the public to help them with information that could lead to the arrest of suspects who robbed KG Money Centre Cash Loan at gunpoint.

Palapye Police Station Commander Waboraro Ramaja said the incident occurred on Saturday morning (March 3) when two men entered the cash loan and demanded money from employees, getting away with cash amounting to P9 200.

He said the two men, who were allegedly armed with air guns, shot three times into the air and demanded money from employees.

Superintendent Ramaja said police investigations were ongoing, pleading with the public to join hands with the police to arrest the perpetrators.

He said the police link the air guns that were in possession of the robbers to the air guns that were stolen at Land Mark early February.

He said the police did not arrest anyone with regard to that incident.

Meanwhile, he said the police have not made any arrests in the incident in which robbers broke into Shoppers Supermarket and used explosives to blast open the safe and made off with over P200 000 cash last year.

Palapye police are appealing to the public to help them with information that could lead to the arrest of the assailants. ENDS
