04 Feb 2018
Francistown Central police are investigating an incident in which a baby girl was found abounded near Nyangabwe Referral Hospital.
In an interview, Superintendent Lebalang Maniki said the baby, believed to be less than three days, was found wrapped with blankets in the early hours of Wednesday morning (January 31).
He further appealed to the public to help them find the whereabouts of the baby’s parents.
Supt. Maniki noted that in 2017 they registered two cases where babies were abandoned in Monarch and Ntshe ward. ENDS
