Police arrest suspect

Police have arrested 19-year-old Keodiretse Tlhofaetsi of Ledumadumane who was wanted in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old woman at Ledumadumane on January 27, 2018.
A press release from Botswana Police Service says Tlhofaetsi was arrested in Mogoditshane on January 30.
It says the suspect was also wanted for assaulting and inflicting serious wounds on a 26-year-old man on the same day at Ledumadumane.
The release further states that at the time of committing the offences, the suspect was on bail for the offence of murder, which he committed in September 2016.
Botswana Police Service would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in arresting the suspect. ENDS
