Police arrest three Tanzanians at Kazungula Ferry Border

Police have arrested three Tanzanian men aged between 39 and 43 years for the possession of suspected stolen property at Kazungula Ferry Border recently during a police operation.

A press release from the Botswana Police Service states that the trio were found in possession of 28 cellphones, four laptops, three cameras and jewellery all worth over P92 000. 

Police investigations are still ongoing while the suspects are in custody.

Meanwhile, the police have also arrested three Batswana men aged between 20 and 31 years for bar breaking and theft in Francistown on January 24. 

It is alleged that between January 21 and 22, the suspects broke into a bar and stole different brands of beverages amounting to over P4 000 and cash over P1 000. During the arrest the police recovered some of the stolen beverages amounting to over P3 000. Police investigations are still ongoing while the suspects are in custody. Ends
