Police in Tutume are investigating a case in which a 29-year-old Zimbabwean man was found lying in a pool of blood on January 11.
According to Tutume station commander, Superintendent Jerry Halahala, the lifeless body was found with stab wounds at the man’s employer’s house at Nyewele ward in Changate.
Supt Halahala said they have arrested a 32-year-old man from Zimbabwe and a brother to help police with investigations.
He said it was alleged that the two had quarreled over a cellphone the night before and the suspect used a sharp instrument to stab the deceased and then fled the scene.
He said he was then apprehended at Sebina at a drinking spot the following day.
He also said the body is at Tutume Primary Hospital awaiting postmortem while the search for relatives continues.
Supt Halahala appealed to the public to stop harbouring illegal immigrants. ENDS
