Officers compete in pageant fund raiser

As part of initiatives geared towards assisting the less priviledged ,Serowe Administrative Authority (SAA) organised the first ever Mr and Miss SAA Best Couple 2017 to raise funds.
The competition saw SAA councilors and officers strutting their staff in the pioneering fundraising event.
SAA Human Resource officer, Galetshwane Seane said through the initiative, he encouraged individuals, entrepreneurs and religious entities to assist charity initiatives so that government’s wish of seeing Batswana out of poverty was realised. Seane said they were convinced that if the nation stood together, they would not only drive government priority area of poverty eradication but also fulfill the Setswana adage 'fifing go tshwaranwa ka kobo'.
Seane said such events, strengthened teamwork between the administration and political leadership thus resulting in constructive outcome which benefited the community they served.
Councillor Keneilwe Monageng and Bofelo Masukusuku emerged winners while Councillor Lesego Raditanka and Keitumetse Batshu scooped the second position and councillor Solomon Dikgang and Ms Selwana Mothibedi were the second prince and princess. BOPA
