BeautyHub Academy’s Team Botswana has returned home with 10 international titles and recognitions.

The team showcased the country’s young talent at the Junior Model International World Finals as well as the Mr & Miss Teen Super Globe International competitions held at Thailand on August 22.

The international competition attracted 74 participants from 14 countries, who competed in various segments, including talent showcasing, interviews, national costume, evening wear and modelling.

Team Botswana was represented by eight-year-old Ambar Masole, who was honoured as Princess of Africa, followed by nine-year-old Aanang Joseph, who received the best Creative National Costume and Miss World Senior Toddler titles.

Eleven-year-old Refilwe Autlwetse clinched the best Talent Award, seven-year-old Oliver Masule, won the best in Suit and Prince of Africa awards at the Junior Model International World Finals.

The accolades continued across other categories, with the remaining members of Team Botswana also making their mark at the Mr & Miss Teen Super Globe International competition.

Fourteen-year-old Legae Maseko won best Introduction and was crowned Miss Teen Super Globe International, while another 14-year-old, Jasmine Masule received the best interview award.

Nineteen-year-old Lisa Molosiwa also emerged as Miss Teen Super Globe Africa.

For all the young contestants, the victories were not only about the titles earned, it was also about the personal growth and confidence gained from representing Botswana on the international stage.

Reflecting on her experience, Miss Teen Super Globe International, Jasmine, said winning the international title was a dream come true.

“I’m honestly so happy because I really didn’t think I was going to win,” she said, candidly adding that the journey taught her that confidence and putting God first could take one far.

Beyond the title, Jasmine shared that she would use her international status to inspire young people in Botswana through her philanthropic work, including donations and motivational talks.

BeautyHub National Director, One Fred said the remarkable achievement and winning a world title under BeautyHub came at a special time as the academy celebrated 10 years of nurturing young talent and three years of participating in international competitions.

She stated that the work of the academy transcended crowns and titles, to giving young people exposure, confidence, discipline and an opportunity to realise that their dreams can take them beyond borders. ends
