19 Oct 2017

Kwasa kwasa music lovers were nearly robbed of their music star, Frank ‘Franco’ Lesokwane when intruders attacked his house in Mmankgodi this week.
However, the good news is that Franco escaped unhurt and life goes on even though he is still in the dark about the incident and motive behind the Tuesday incident.
“I am still in the dark about this incident and the motive behind it,” said Franco speaking from Mmankgodi.

He said the intruders apparently used a flammable liquid that ressembled petrol to set alight his house and his car - a Hiace valued at P50 000.
Franco said he was in the bedroom when the incident happened, adding that he forced to escape death through one of the windows after breaking its bugler bars.

The music star, who commands a huge following of revellers, explained further that the main door of the house he was sleeping in and some items in the living room were burnt to ashes.
He said he reported the matter to the police, who are still carrying out investigations in order to arrest the suspects.

He said another similar incident also happened on Wednesday at his home in Gabane in which his Mercedes Benz, also valued at P50 000, was set on fire by unknown intruders.
Franco said he received a phone call from Gabane on Wednesday night that some people have attempted to burn his car.

He explained that the people who were in the yard managed to extinguish the fire and that the car was partially burnt.
The matter was also reported to the police for investigations. The damaged property is valued at over P100 000. ENDS
