The 9th Botswana Music Union (BOMU) awards are scheduled for October 28 at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC).
Speaking at a press conference BOMU president Pagson Ntsie said they have added four new categories this year.

The artists with the most nominations are Charma Gal and Rraagwe Tinana with both notching up six nominations. They are followed by A.T.I and Skavenja with five .
Amantle Brown is perched at three nominations and surprisingly she did not make the cut for Best Collabo with her hit song Follo that she did with Juju Boy.

BOMU awards last year saw artists like Mlesho of the Thlomela hit song and Amantle Brown winning big on the night.
