Preparations for the Married Remarkable Sophisticated (M.R.S) Botswana pageant slated for October are underway.

In an interview, M.R.S Botswana founder, Kgalalelo Lesetedi said the title holder would represent Botswana at the Mrs Globe pageant in China, where she will share the stage with other married women.

She said once crowned, M.R.S Botswana will facilitate relevant trainings for families in Botswana with emphasis on the importance of family and building strong family ties.

“At M.R.S Botswana we are committed among all to inspire and motivate families by uplifting a woman as they say ‘mosadi thari ya setshaba’,” she said.

Armed with experience from organising and participating in beauty pageants, she explained that most pageants did not allow married women and those with children to participate, hence her decision to register the Married Remarkable Sophisticated Botswana.

Lesetedi also spoke of how committed they were in creating events where families would meet, network, share ideas and inspirations on family matters and get motivations from experienced reputable speakers.

“We host our activities with the engagement of relevant and reputable stakeholders to reduce divorce rate or conflicts by intensifying on pre-marital and post-marital counselling and team building activities to couples and their families,” she said

The M.R.S Botswana is an organisation specialising in the business of family management and recreation.

The organisation works in collaboration with the Marriage Counselling Association. ENDS
