Social media helps market Dimas book

Kenneth Dima, 24, says social media has helped market and push the sales of his Christian inspired literature book, Mysteries of Eternal Life.

The Francistown-born young man told BOPA that his book was published in 2014 and was doing well.

He said he realised that social media was a great platform to generate interest for his book and decided to give part of the book in soft copies freely to individuals who showed interest, but one had to pay P30 for the full version, still in soft copy.

Dima, a University of Botswana student, said he realised that although some people still some preferred hardcopy, young people opted for soft copies because of their love for digital gadgets.

“People have been supportive so far and I have no doubt they will keep buying the book.

When Mysteries of Eternal Life was launched in 2014, it was one of the few that was shortlisted by the Botswana National Library and has been distributed in all national libraries and the e-book is now available on Amazon,” he added.

Dima stated that the book was an inspirational publication, which de-mystifies old perceptions of spirituality and God and aimed to restore faith among the people. ENDS
