Bignose releases album

23 May 2017

When he told people that he wanted to be a musician and release an album, many dismissed him as insane.

Bignose, whose real name is Kabo Keoraletse, has just released a six track house gospel album titled O etla Jeso to make that dream come true.

Growing up, he used to be the laughing stock of many of his peers because of his prominent nose, which earned him his stage name. But now, no one is laughing at him because he is an example that determination does pay.

He is popular around Monarch in Francistown with both the young and old, and the first track on his debut album is called Inguva, featuring a Zimbabwean musician named Jazz Jena from Harare.

“The track simply narrates that the world is coming to an end, therefore people should resort to a life of prayer,” Bignose said in an interview.

The title track, O etla Jeso is number two on the album and it features one of Botswana’s popular House Kwasa muso, Star Luu, to deliver a nicely arranged track that alerts people about the second coming of Jesus.

Other great songs that will have people stepping and tapping their feet is Ga gona yo tshwanang le Jeso, featuring Chibuya and the Lord is my Shepherd featuring Sylvia Kgathola and Tarzo.

On Siya e khaya, which is track number five on the album, the talented youngster features his highly rated and best music producer in Francistown, Chase ‘Depapa’ Mabutho to deliver a highly charged danceable tune and the last song on the album is called Tlhonolofatsa.

“I took two years to finish this album because I wanted to deliver a quality project to Batswana.

All songs were produced by Chase Depapa and Deril Muzik at Bon-Fella Records Studios in Francistown,” Bignose said.

The album, he said, was marketed and distributed by him and that it was doing well as people were buying copies. ENDS
