Kutlwano police in Francistown are investigating a murder of a 16-year-old boy of Block 2.

Supt Serumola said it was suspected that a fight erupted between groups of boys and led to the death of the boy.

Three boys aged 18 years have already appeared in court in connection with the matter.

In a different incident, police in central are investigating a rape and a robbery case which happened on May 15.

Superintendent Lebalang Maniki said a 31 year old employee of one of the shops at Bonanza Shopping Complex in Donga was reported missing on May 15 but the following day she reported to the police that she was grabbed by a stranger who robbed her cash amounting to between P3 500 and P4 000 of the business and raped her in the nearby bush.

No arrest has been made and he appealed to the community to assist in the arrest of the culprit. ENDS
