13 May 2017
Polling stations officially closed at 7pm but there are people within voting stations awaiting their turn to vote.
So far, over 7 000 people have already cast their vote in all the 35 polling stations against the expected total of over 13 000 eligible voters, which returning officer, Mr Richard Boitshwarelo says they are expecting.
Mr Boitshwarelo says in general, the elections are running smoothly except for a few people whose card numbers differed from those in the voting roll, most of whom are those who had their cards replaced. ENDS
