Trio sets Stanbic Bank Piazza ablaze

On April 22 revellers made their way to Molapo Crossing Stanbic Bank Piazza to witness Major One Trio performing as they praised and worshipped to all songs of the artistes.
The event was jam-packed with audience both young and old who came to witness the performance of both local performers and Major Trio from South Africa who did their best in giving out live performance as people stood up the whole show dancing to the tunes.
The event was dubbed the Honey Worship Tour which was also being launched as the trio will travel to various countries. The trio featured James Nee, who is a singer, songwriter, producer and businessman and a son of Major Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and ECG worshipper, Richard Wills, who is a pastor, singer and worship leader at Enlightened Christian Gathering Church and Innocent Mumba who is also ECG worshipper and a son of Prophet Bushiri.
Local artistes took part to entertain the audience with Ashley Gops singing his gospel songs as the audience danced along to the tunes.
Also on the lineup was Ounah Ratheby who sung some of his songs in which he featured the late Lundi Tyamara as he performed with his live band. He also performed Mphefumlo Wami by Lundi leaving audience stunned but also sung hymn medley with audience singing along to the Setswana songs.
The audience could not hold their breath as Ounah performed his song Ingwe Mabalabala the popular song that is always played on radio and Botswana Television Gospel Show Melodi ya Kgalaletso, revellers sung along to their favourite song and sung along also to his song Ke sena wena.
The long awaited moment came as the Trio took to the stage with Nee, Wills and Mumba as the audience shouted and screamed to an introductory song called Oh Kingdom of God is here.
Nee led the song Lion of Judah and Wills followed next singing his piece as people lifted their hands with jubilation to the ecstatic atmosphere of worship and praise.
As the mood of the show continued to advance Mumba sung his song God is still Speaking Today as people danced along to the song.
The most loved piece Turning Around by Nee left the audience dancing, turning to all sides as the singer said Gaborone was turning around and Botswana was turning around, he left the audience shouting to his great dancing moves as he spun in the air.
Richard sung a song named It Is Done with words I have my God he knows my name as people continued to worship. Innocent continued with worship song as people sung along worshipping and praying, saying more of you less of me God.
The trio announced that their album together will be released soon and the people should expect the best.
James requested the audience to switch on their lights in their phones and the mood was great as all people waved their phone’s up as they sung to their favourite song by Richard called Miracle Day. The show continued with Innocent singing his song dubbed Unstoppable as people could not stop screaming.
The Trio asked the audience to pray for Israel and Botswana as they said it was an instruction from Prophet Bushiri and the prayers were led by Pastor Prophetic Phitshane as he thanked God for Botswana and the President of the country and the leaders and prayed that peace should continue to reign in the nation. He also prayed for the youth of Botswana and other sons and daughters of Major One continued with prayers for the country.
All the audience took out their honey as the trio asked them to take out their honey and eat it as the trio sung a song that talked about a sweet life.
The show reached its peak as other people prayed and others started falling and ushers assisted them as they could not resist the power of worship. ENDS
