Police ask public to help identify man

Police in Mochudi are asking the public to come and identify a man who was hit by a car on the flyover near Pilane Crossing Mall.
Speaking in an interview, Mochudi police station commander Superintendent Olebile Sitale said the incident took place on Saturday evening and they had not so far been able to identify the man as there was nothing on him that could help them know who he was.
Superintendent Sitale said the body of the deceased had been accommodated at Lyn’s Mortuary in Pilane .
On other issues, the station commander said they had a more calm Easter holidays and people behaved well except offenses committed by people who were drinking alcohol in ungazetted areas.
He said they had observed a notable increase in incidences of operating bars/pubs beyond stipulated time .
Superintendent Sitale said road accidents also increased from six last year to 13 this year and urged road users to do all they could to avoid road accidents to save lives. BOPA
