Dubbed one of Botswana’s leading jazz singers and vocalist, Punah Gabasiane-Molale has released a single titled Tsamaya Le Nna which reaffirms her stranglehold on the genre that boasts of other women artistes who are talented in their own right.

The song is a wonderful work of art and implies how beautiful and romantic it is for loved ones to embark on long love journeys together.

Punah indicated that the single was a preparatory project for her upcoming album to be released this year.

She noted that the upcoming album would be her fifth Afro jazz album and with over a decade in the music industry, Punah continues to learn her genre and empower her singing skills.

Having recently signed with Black Eagle Media Group, a renowned South African artistes management company in February this year, Punah said the group would assist her in taking her music to higher heights and to the world.

Punah’s music fuses contemporary and traditional music, social commentary and Afro-hypnotic jazz in a unique spell binding creation that appeals to both the old and young.

Some of her accolades include, among others, Best Female Artist Southern Africa-AFRIMMA USA 2016, Best Live Band-Botswana Presidential Award 2008, 2009, Best Female Artist-BOMU 2007 and Best Jazz Album-BOMU 2007.
