Its You hit making waves

Its You single is making waves on air after its release by the youthful and talented Deejay who goes by the name Maxonic.
The youthful Deejay who became popular last year after his hit Pina Ee that has been trending of Facebook and playing on Botswana Television one hour music show is now making a mark again in the music scenes with his second coming  single titled Its You.
His real name Moemedi Itiseng the youthful star hails from Kanye where he was raised, his talent and love for house music has grown after fans loved his offering that got a chance to play in most radio stations and Botswana Television music show.
In an interview, the house deejay star noted that as the year was beginning with so much joy and focus he was busy working in his new single dubbed Its You where he features Laray and MoMack.
The young singer’s hit was produced by SunCity Roots from South Africa which is a well-known house group.
He said the song was recorded and mastered at Infinate 5 studio at Gaborone West where he worked with the likes of Names and MkBeats from Double Impact.
He noted that the video for the song was already ready and it would be out soon, adding that so far as his marketing strategy was to  push the song on the Internet, radio stations and also giving it out to Deejays to play on their sets in events for free.
 He said so far the response had been very good and promising and he was receiving much support from Botswana as well as South Africa which was an amazing experience and showed that he was going somewhere and growing in his career.
He noted that the official release of the song was December 26 last year, but due to saturation from other artistes, he started pushing the song this year in January so that it may get relevant attention from his fans.
He encouraged upcoming performers to follow their dreams and work hard to make use of their talents and never to be discouraged.
At the age of 18, he has now penetrated the market with his single Mogagola with Pina Ee doing well since its release.  
He was inspired by Nutty Nys the Nka Modira hit maker and he always listened to the likes of Black Coffee, Black Motion, Culoe Desong, Bignuz while locally he listened to Dj Kuchi.
 Dj Maxonic said this year his fans should expect a full album from him, adding that since last year he organised events such as Miss Ba Isago, Miss Summer Kanye and All Star Party.
He says this year he was bringing it bigger and better. ENDS
