Poetic Omnibus will on December 16 host a poetry night in Francistown.

Speaking during an interview, founding president of Poetic Omnibus, Obakeng Kagiso said the event was aimed at closing the year end for the omnibus crew.

Also, he said the night was a celebration of their latest achievement for their two members who won awards at the Northern Art Awards recently.

Koketso ‘Phenomenal’ Marumo scooped the award for the best  poet while Karabo “Order” Keitheng won the award of the best comedian.

In addition, he said the event aims at empowering and creating a possible network of empowerment for 2017 and beyond.Kagiso said the event would have a flair of poetry entertainment and business presentation that would boost the being of artistes and their ways of life.

 Furthermore, he said the night would be graced by well-known local poets of the stage names of Tsiki tsiki, Ben Khoma, Phoko ya Leburuboko, Pastor Tangi, Rodrey and others.

He urged the community of Francistown and surrounding areas to come and have a good time hence embracing the showcasing of their talents.

The night is themed Festive Fever. ENDS
