Police caution against threatening emails

Botswana Police Service advises the public to ignore e-mails from raeesabhabh@gmail.com and other possible addresses alleging death threats to the recipient.
A news release from Botswana Police Service states that one of the messages reads thus; “I have been paid to kill you, for your own good keep this email confidential, I know where you stay I know everything I need to know about you.
Do not contact this e-mail if you want to reach me, contact this email loglog38@gmail.com”.
The release further warns members of the public against disclosing their personal information such as passwords and credit card numbers to ‘faceless people’ on-line. ENDS
