The DVD for his year’s golden jubilee celebration in Sefhare is out and available at Village Development Committee (VDC) office.

Speaking in an interview, chairperson of the committee that was preparing for this year’s independence day, Obakeng Siamisang said his committee recently handed over the BOT50 celebration DVD to dikgosi and VDC for them to make logistsics of how one could get it.

Siamisang said this year’s independence was big and very special compared to the previous ones.

He said in Sefhare they celebrated it peacefully and happily, adding that they recorded a video to keep memories of that day.

Siamisang further said some of the things that the video captured include the President’s message, which highlight where Botswana was coming from, history of Sefhare by some village elders as well as performances by various artistes from Sefhare who were entertaining during the day

Siamisang urged Sefhare residents to buy the DVD and keep it safe for the future generation.

‘‘There are a lot of things that the coming generation can learn from that video especially on the part of the history of their village and where Botswana began so I wish each family can have the DVD,’’ Siamisang said. ENDS
