72 year-old commits suicide

A 72-year-old man of Nkaikela ward in Ramotswa committed suicide recently.
In an interview, Ramotswa Police Station Commander Superintendent Keoagile Tau said the old man did not leave behind any message
.
Supt Tau said the man, who was staying with his sister left home early to sell beans and was later found hanging from a tree at Sengome lands.
He said the old man was the thirteenth person so far to commit suicide in the village this year.
In another incident, a Botswana Pride employee is alleged to have stabbed to death his colleague at Hill Rest Bar on Sunday afternoon. The suspect, a 25-years-old man is currently in police custody.
The deceased is from Ramotswa while the suspect hails from Tlokweng. ENDS
