Police arrest man for suspected stolen cash

The Police have arrested Zimbabwean national aged 42 years for suspected stolen cash amounting to P15 000 and US$ 2 000.
According to a press release the man was arrested on Friday at Foley village in the central district.
“He and his three accomplices ran away when the vehicle they were travelling in was stopped by the police on Thursday at Sese road block along the A1 road,” says the release.
It further says upon searching the vehicle the police found three bags containing coins amounting to P 4 465 in the bonnet, three grinder discs and a 12 metre stepladder in the car boot.
Meanwhile, the police are looking for the three other suspects who are still at large.
They appeal to members of the public to be on the lookout for any suspicious person(s) and report them to any nearest police station,” it says. ENDS
