A form three student at Mokgalo JSS is in police custody following the murder of another form three student.

Palapye Police Station Commander Superintendent Waboraro Ramaja confirmed that the police arrested the 15 year old suspect to help the police with investigations on the murder of a student at the same school.

Even though Police investigations are still at preliminary stage, Superintendent Ramaja hinted that the suspect allegedly stabbed the deceased with a pair of scissors on August 18 morning during morning lesson.

He said apparently the suspect called the deceased by a nick name and when the deceased objected to that name, the suspect started pushing the deceased and stabbed him with a pair of scissors under the left ear.

He said the deceased was certified dead on arrival at Lecheng clinic.The deceased names are still withheld whilst investigations are ongoing.Both students are from Matlhakola village in Tswapong North. Ends
