Police shoot man in scuffle

A 27-year-old was shot in a scuffle with the police at Machaneng in the early hours of Saturday.
A press release from Botswana Police Service public relations officer, Assistant Commissioner Witness Bosija states that the incident occurred when the police were arresting the deceased at a house in the village. During the process he was shot.
The deceased has been in the police wanted list since last year for a series of cases of stock theft, assault and escaping from lawful custody. Police investigations are continuing. ENDS
