Accident claims life

Police in Tutume are investigating an incident in which Tutume sub district council employee lost his life in a car accident in the earlier hours of 08/08/2016 when his Opel Corsa van overturned along Tutume/Mosetse road.
In an interview with Tutume traffic division officer Superintendent Milidzani Mbayi said the vehicle had three passengers including the driver who was certified dead upon arrival at Tutume Primary Hospital.
And he noted that the other two passengers being two women have been referred to Nyangabgwe referral hospital in Francistown. Superintendent further added that investigations were on going to determine the cause of the accident while the relatives of the deceased have been notified.
He nonetheless noted that although they have not had so many accidents since the President's holidays, this past weekend they have had about three which fortunately they were not fatal.
Superintendent Mbayi however said for the accidents they had prior to the one which claimed a life, drivers have been negligent on the roads not obeying the roads signs. He thus made plea to all road users to be cautious at all time with respect to other road users.
