Two illegal Zimbabwe nationals recently appeared before Gaborone Village Magistrate Court charged with theft of motor vehicle.
Brasel Ndlovu of plot no. 2313 Sizinda, Bulawayo aged 23 and Rodwell Nyathi of plot no. 8726 Cowdry, Bulawayo were remanded in custody as investigations in the matter were ongoing.
And they did not have a fixed place of residence.
According to the charge sheet, Ndlovu and Nyathi and two others not before the court on or about July 17, this year at Morake ward in Mmopane, without claim or right stole a navy blue BMW sedan valued at P47 000 being the property of Koziba Balopi.
The prosecutor, Inspector Andrew Mbazo, told the court that the two who were not in attendance were in custody for a different charge and would be brought before court in the next mention scheduled for August 5.
Meanwhile, the stolen motor car was recovered and it could have been used in transporting stolen property.
When the accused were asked whether they had something to say, Ndlovu confessed that when they stole the motor vehicle, the young Nyathi was not present. Ends
