Hip hop artist Ted Phaphane famously known as Ozi F Teddy is back in the music scenes after taking a long break out.  

The singer, who has been in the entertainment scenes for more than six years, now said he felt it was time he comes back and shows that he has not lost a spark.

He said his fans are the other reason he returned as they kept demanding to know when they will hear from their favorite rapper again. 

“When you are an artist, you owe it to the fans to keep giving them good music because they are the ones who made you and your career. Without their support you are nothing,” he said.

The Like That’ and TTG hit maker has returned with another smashing hit song called Late night which debuted last week. Judging by the reception the song has been getting since its release, it is only a matter of time before the song starts topping charts. 

“I have put a lot of thinking in this song as I wanted it to be a catchy song. Many people thought my career was finished so this hit is just to show them that I still have it in me and I am sure my fans are going to love it,” he said.

He added that the song is about courage and personalities.

“It’s a feel good track for any person who might have been judged wrongly in the past, this is a comeback for them. Often as people, we go through tough challenges and as a result we are sometimes judged without knowledge of the whole truth,” he said.

He explained that the song therefore discourages people from jumping to conclusions as everyone is special in their own way.  “Besides, there are always two sides to a story so let’s learn to give others a chance to explain themselves before judging them,” he said.

Late night is Ozi F Teddy’s official third single from his upcoming album Lord Summer which will hopefully be released before end of year.  He said he made a vow last year that this year will be a year to reclaim all that he lost while away, which includes the respect and fans he had as a hip hop artist.

The rapper mentioned that he is still perfecting the rest of the album which will include experiences of his spiritual growth.

“I felt it was time I give God the time he deserves as  he has guided me through my growth, it was time to thank him properly thus talking time from the entertainment scenes and now that I am back many will see the change in me and hopefully it will rub on them too,” he said.

He said he is working with Rimzy productions and Mate Yung Fella.

“These producers know how to turn a simple song into a hit, they are the masters and they have done this for me before so I knew I had to work with them again in order to give my fans the best,” he said.

The young rapper added that he hopes that this album will make many realise that he was born to be a rapper and that this is the talent he is not about to quit. Ends
