BOT50 looks for talent

About 100 participants in Francistown and surrounding areas took part in BOT50 auditions at Thapama Lodge on Saturday.
The talent search allowed participants to exhibit their talents and an individual could audition for many acts, so as to enable them to participate during BOT50 anniversary independence celebrations in September.
Managing director of Red Pepper Company, Thapelo Letsholo said in an interview that the auditions were open to all who had interest in participating in celebrations, not just professional dancers and actors but also those who have other talents.
Those successful, he said would participate in a unique and extensive training, rehearsal and skills transfer programme.
Letsholo said the programme would train them to high professional standards, adding that the programme also aims to be as much inclusive as possible while developing the youth and creating a lasting legacy that would honour, and live beyond, the 50th anniversary celebrations
For her part, general manager of Red Pepper Company, Lorato Tebogo said she was very much impressed by the interest shown by all especially young people. She further said the successful contributors would perform in September 29 and 30 during the 50th independence anniversary celebrations.
From Francistown, she said they would to Kasane on June 18 and urged those interested in showcasing their talents to come forth.
The judges include, Shanti Lo, Sylvester Ntshinogang well-known as DJ Sly and Mbali Kgosidintsi.ENDS
