Suspect stabs police officer

A 43-year-old police sergeant is admitted in hospital after he was stabbed with a sharp instrument on May 6.

A press release from Botswana Police Service states that a 22-year-old man of Mokolobata lands in Kgatleng District stabbed the offer.

The incident occurred at Mokolobata when the police confronted the suspect on allegations of stealing stock.

According to the release, the suspect is likely to be charged with unlawful wounding and stealing stock. ENDS
