Tefo Motswagole, also known as Ms Tefo, is the newest addition to the growing list of house musicians in the country. 

She has started making waves in the local scene with her latest offering titled Down Low.

She revealed during an interview that she used television show, My Star as a stepping stone to her already blossoming career.

Although she did not last long in the competition, she said the experience helped her to  follow her dreams. She said that singing runs in her blood. Her mother used to sing in church choirs.

‘’After I failed in the competition, luckily I met my producer, DJ Bino. I sent an audio I recorded which he liked.

 He told me to start writing songs and come to the studio the following day,’’ said the 22 year old.

Ms Tefo said she never looked back since then. She has gigged at parties and corporate events.

 "I recently performed my single at the BOT50 celebration in Lobatse,” she added.

Ms Tefo expressed her gratitude for government over its support in helping the youth grow and show their talents to the rest of the world.

The soft spoken artiste encouraged other youths to pursue their dreams and to refrain from  alcohol abuse. ENDS
