Police arrests suspects for criminal offence

Police in the South Central and North Central division have arrested 25 Batswana and one Zimbabwean aged between 21 and 40 years in a number of cases of possession of suspected stolen property, break-ins and possession of habit-forming drugs.
A press release from the Botswana Police Service states that thirteen of the suspects were arrested in connection with eight cases of unlawful possession of dagga detected in Selebi Phikwe, Mmadinare, Bobonong and Gaborone while eight were arrested for possession of stolen property.
The statement reveals that the cases were reported in Bobonong, Selebi Phikwe and Gaborone. Furthermore, the police also seized a television set, a laptop, money amounting to P3,000, clothing and dagga weighing over 3 kilograms. Ends
